No one i know who has an iphone has ever praised its battery, all they do is complain about it as it is pathetic. People are having to charge it twice a day yet with my ANDROID phone, HTC One M7, i can get 2 days out of it without having to use the super power save mode which still gives me my colour screen. All Apple fanboys think Android = Samsung, well some news for you it doesn't. The HTC One M8, Z2 and LG G3 are far superior phones to the S5, so if that is what Apple are aiming to be better than, good for them. Aiming to be 4th isn't an achievement. Yes the iphones sell in greater numbers however that doesn't mean its a better phone, not by a long way.

Sad news for me. I am hoping to return to iphone with it's 5.5 inch display. I have been waiting since iPhone 4.

its a good news becouse i think 5.5 inch is too big i dont even agree whit 4.7 inch but ...
i think the 4.0 inch is still the best size for iphone i mean Iphone 5s is still the best Iphone ( i speack about the design wich is perfect whit a 4.0 inch screen)
im not sure if i will change to iphone 6 i will w8 untill they release it.I still hope they will change the design becouse it looks too much like an Ipod and to be honest for me the Ipod 5 looks even beter then that design
(PS: i have one and im happy whit that Ipod still the best i had untill now)

Sapphire isn't even a real innovation. Vertu had been using it for years with their Symbian smartphones and since 2013 with Android. That's basically the glass on your swiss watch cut bigger for your phone. The marketing hype works though. Worked for Vertu for years.

My daughters are upgrading to galaxy S5 next so apples loss.

Manufacturing issues serious enough to drop an entire product line? Wow that's lame. This is supposed to be a game among manufacturing veterans with billions of $$$ investments, not some struggling technology startups.

4 inches beats 5 i... more2 things wrong with your line of though:
1st there are more droids than just Samsung and some top end devices have even better battery life than the S4;
2nd, ok, so the IPhone 6 will come at the end of September almost topping SGS5 screen and maybe beating its battery life? good for it! Except that at that time we will be having the New Z3 also (and Z2 as some pretty good battery life) and we will be only a short few months from SGS6....
Not looking good, isn't it?

4 inches beats 5 inches battery life of S4. And Samsung have to use black and white to save their battery life just to beat iPhone's battery.
4.7 inches would mean it will match and exceed S5 without going black and white wahahaa.
5.5 inches would enter iPad's legendary battery life status.
If this rumour is true, and Apple pushes back the 5.5, then Samsung is saved .. but not for long.
