TO be honest Sony overheating issue is not about the inside of the phone but because of the glass and aluminum type of the phone.
WHen you put hot water on the glass or metal it is natural that you will feel the heat faster. Sony doesn't overheat. it is just the glass that overheat. Z3 is not plastic like those samsung... you will not feel the heat because its made of plastic.

sorry to disappoint you all but unfortunately Sony made an announcement around a month back that there would be no successor to Z Ultra, unless of course they somehow decide to change their mind.
