imho i feel like the Xperia phones that sony release at the beginning of the year is the more appealing choice to get because the one at the end of the year is like an upgrade the same way how the S line for apple ( e.g-4s,5s etc) are upgrades for their predecessors (e.g-4, 5). so if i'd buy the amazing phones that sony put out, id get it at the beginning of the year, that way im with it the whole year and when i upgrade, my mind will get blown.

I was gonna buy but now seriously Sony are u f**king kidding. It needs 32gb at LEAST, snap 805 and qhd. Sony can't afford to slack when the note 4 is around the corner.

I guess a fingerprint scanner would be presented in Z3 to meet the market needs since most of will known web sites starts to accept payments with swipe of finger, I suggest to locate it on the upper right side, once you pickup the phone it would be easy to scan the finger and login to the device

This is ridiculous to introduce a phone that is same in specs like the previous model.
And as for the camera: no improvement at all, no OIS etc. And in all reviews picture quality is worse than in the Galaxy S5 or LG G3.
You could expect Snapdragon 805 from a device that will be sold in the second half of the year.

If those are the features of the Z3 then I'd rather wait for Z4. I hope the Z3 has better features, I need to upgrade from Z1.

With those specs and commercialization in Q4 it will be a flop ...
Better to wait for snapdragon 805 availability to show something slightly new.
Sony seems to keep trying catching up without a good plan of action.

I don't know, and time will tell, but I think that the Z3 will be at least a bit better (than the article says) and it will be an absolute must for Sony to make it quite better than these predictions, 1 to give the reasons for switching, and 2 to stay at the technological levels of the others, like Samsung, LG, Oppo, etc. At least Sony have to include in the Z3, obviously same specs as the Z2, plus QHD DISPLAY, 3GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage (128GB SD card) better Stereo Speakers, at least 5MP front facing camera, the Snapdragon 805, and minimizing a lot more the bezels!!!!!! And then it will be really an excellent contender! !!!!!!!

As a consumer I'm really frustrated with Sony in producing these 16GB (and below) storage smartphones where as Samsung, Apple even the Chinese company namely ZTE could produce more storage than that (ZTE produce 128GB of internal storage in their ZTE Nubia X6). As far as I concern, there is only three 32GB model available from Sony which is Xperia S, Xperia SL & Xperia Z1S (only available in the US markets). Come on Sony you got to keep up the pace or else its the end of you.
