People just look at the screen size and say 5.9 inch is better then 6.3
Note 3 is also 5.9 inches but has much smaller dimensions .
Idiots have you ever wondered how ?
Mega 2 has dimensions in the tablet category . Anything more than 80 mm wide is not acceptable as a phone .
But I still love the mega series . It beats the shit out of all tablets . Perfect size for android experience. Light in hands . Easy to type . I threw away my laptop and my tablet after I bought the mega . Goodbye laptops and tablets . Please don't use it as your primary phone . Its just not meant to be a phone .

Looks great at 5.9". 6.3" is rather a bit bit but 5.9" is just nice. Hope that Samsung will pack more juice into this phone as for daily use. Thanks again for making a good study on phone users.

Sounds to me like they are following Huawei again but with less memory and a slower processor, and probably $100 over the Huawei price. Other than that anyone have anything of substance to say other than "the phone is too big!" boo fricken hoo! take your little baby hands and go play with an iphone, the phone is just right for my giant sized hands. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES WHO BUY PHONES SO SHUT UP ALREADY!

What's more ridiculous; the person who carries a 5" phone and a 7" tablet around all day or the person who says screw it and just buys a 6" phone? There might be some sanity to this insanity. It's all about personal preference and convenience. How boring the world would be if we all used the same phone, wore the same clothes and drove the same car.

Dot-WiFi, 25 Jul 2014one day people will think 12" is perfect size for phoneI dont agree - it is more of an Asian thing where big is better. 5" is as large as you want. Anything bigger is uncomfortable to use and to manage walking around. People who use a 6" or 7" device as a mobile look like they have a brick grafted to their ear. They are impractical but people like to show off.

and manufacturers are wondering how are they posting deficits in sales...with 5.8" and 6.3" in the stores what do you really need?. why 5.9" of course. they should right away make a 6.0" and a 6.1" also so people can run away even faster from the store when they have to decide which of the 1000 0000 smartphones, that all look the same but have incremental diferences, should they choose to buy.

I don't understand why people are not happy with so many phones...we love phones don't we ? And they can still buy phones from 2 years ago if that is what they like...ah ah ah.
Love that, continue bringing better and cheaper phones...

I love it when people, mostly guys, with small hands make comments about Samsungs phones being too big... it says alot about them. it fits in my hands just fine ;-)

Thought the mega 2 was rumored to have a 7" screen. (But still a phone and NOT a tablet.) i dont care either way. Im soo tired of samsung and the bloated UIs. Hence i moved and a LGG3. LG is soo gonna the next samsung.

Samsung instead making and making new phones every 3 weeks update all your High,Mid, Low end phones to Kitkat... Why wont you copy Motorola, Sony, LG they have already updated thier phones specially thier mid range phones to kitkat... Samsung your market will go down....
