26 July, 2014
The phone started burning while being kept under a pillow, fortunately not harming the person sleeping on it.

Keeping a phone under a pillow doesn't seem anywhere safe or smart to mee, expecially for a young kid.
Is it wise to keep the phone under your head, all night, exposing yourself to long periods of radiation?
And it would be interesting to know if the phone was charging. It would make it even more dangerous, I would never let my phone plugged to the main power and under a flammable and heat trapping pillow furthermore with my head sleeping on top of it.
          Just me saying...

Contract , 27 Jul 2014I agree in part but NOT the part about replaceable batterie... more"Every one of my phones had as sometime required a soft reset aka "battery pull"

Soft reset can be done by software+hardware. IPhone have never had replacable battery but it always have had soft and hard reset option.

So if you need soft reset you can do it by holding two buttons sametime for few seconds

Aionism, 27 Jul 2014Why does a 13 yr old have a S4 in the first place?Indeed, it is a pretty good question. Another one is what the heck is a smartphone doing under a pillow, while his proprietary is sleeping on it? Could have found a better place to store his device while sleeping, no? Unless he would like to tell his friends he slept with his phone, as if it was better than sleeping with his girlfriend lol.

Neither are their screens which are made by sharp and lg or their chipsets. I consider people who buy iphones stupid.

Apple for example, tends to strive for the highest level regulations and complies with that. The breakdown shows the difference between Apple chargers for example, genuine and counterfeit. There is a lot of difference:

True quality can never be reach in these type of phones.. with configurable slots / removable batteries.

Only those with full unibody phone can quality be ensured.

Because people are always looking for cheaper, and cheated by paper MORE mAH cheap batteries and storage options. These China fake battery/ storage, cramp more battery per space.. easy to burst into flames.

The iPhone is made of expensive and high quality materials. Apple just purchased those materials for a low price hence the low production cost but that doesn't mean they are indeed cheap.

Lolx... heating up issue is also there with almost every samsung smart fone bcz samsung always put cheap material in its products. Really very disappointed by Samsung Products, even my brand new Galaxy Neo I9300 gets heat up very early after start of chatting on Viber, Video Call on Skype or playing games, using fb, etc. Never faced these kind of problems with Nokia. Wake up samsung kids otherwise you will lose the trust factor of the customers. I need my set replaced ASAP.
