YeahBOY, 21 May 2009They're not copying OLED from Nokia, They're copying OLED from S... moreNokia also copied colour screens from SonyEricsson T68, Bluetooth from SonyEricsson T39, flipphone from Motorola RAZR (except you couldn't open the flip with the headphones plugged in).

The N97 is a copy of the SonyEricsson P900, touchscreen, qwerty, Symbian.

I can't think of a single thing Nokia didn't copy from someone else.

They're not copying OLED from Nokia, They're copying OLED from Sony's X Walkman range which were first to put OLED into a device Nokia copied them.

Anonymous, 21 May 2009Next is N97 with 3.5" touchscreen AND full QWERTY slide keypad ... moreWhat if somebody does not want slide out keypad?!!

Anyway… Nokia proved himself. They still don’t have a single phone which can rival the iPhone. They lost their market share in the smart phone area completely, they build quality is rubbish, and the sales of the 5800 are terrible even if it is cheap as it can be so every peasant could buy it. The Ovi store has failed big time, they even stopped every further development and Symbian is on its lowest level ever with far more superior SW taking over like OSX or Android.

Nokia is going down fast. You can trust me, I work for them. (not for long now hopefully..)

imma on joo list, 20 May 2009Apple is copying OLED from Nokia N85yeah cause nokia is so far ahead and all, and with the increasing failure rates from the N series of late I would steer clear until nokia cleans up there act.

To all the iPhone & Apple haters:
You seem to be missing the point.
If a hundred ordinary people got robbed-off their watches & gold pen, nobody cares. But if President Obama's cheap pen get stolen, it will be headline news! Get it?
It doesn't matter how advance other makers make their phone to be, it wouldn't cause a stir. But if Apple put even something as silly as MMS into their iphone, it will be headline news! They will attract attention including yours, the haters"! Don't believe me? Well, the prove is all over this thread and any thread that have iphone in it! They just get to your nerves didn't they!

how is apple copying oled screen from nokia ? samsung and sony are the only companies developing oled so nokia licensed it from them !!! as apple will surely do too.
