Geeze people need to calm down. They're not going to throttle people for using 150gb of data or without personally warning you. They're going to contact the top 20 and give them a warning.

"Unlimited" comes down to the fact that they can't actually provide what they advertise without implementing some sort of management. I live in a third world country, we don't even have this kind of shaping nonsense. The providers sell what they can back up, not sell what they don't have.

Very well. I am using 3GB with Fido Canada and if I go over I am charged $10/500MB on my next bill.

Good for T-Mobile. I use 2-3GB each month on the 3GB LTE plan. I can understand people getting 10-20GB a month when watching lots of YouTube or frequent photo heavy websites. However, those that pulls 150GB a month are just tethering their computer to the phone and use it as cable/DSL. Supporting one of those 150GB users would mean affecting 50-150 users like me that doesn't abuse our data.

well technically speaking, T-Mobile intends to give a limit for your unlimited data usage. if u exceed that your speed will be throttled until renewal of your 4g plan.

we have same problem with our wimax system in iran, we pay the bill for unlimited data but they will charge us for limited plan, if we use more than 100 gb we will be slowing down so tmobile wanna do the same ur plan is unlimited but as actual its limited

Ironic how providing unlimited data is whats keeping t-mobile in business from being over shadowed by other competitors if they throttle that to much the will lose customers

Come on T-Mobile really? You guys claim to be the rebals of mobile companies. That makes it false advertising. This should against the law. Everything depends on the internet now a days and you guys want to slow us down.

AnonD-143957, 14 Aug 2014telecoms should redefine the term "unlimited". th... morei think it is still unlimited even though there is a fair use policy (throttle), that is because even after exceeding the cap, you can still use the service, and your internet won't stop, it will slow down yes, but you can still yse the service, apart from that you won't be billed for the excess usage on top of the cap, so it is still unlimited data.

if the service is not unlimited once you reach the data cap your services will either be suspended or you'll be charged for the excess.
