It's not fair policy to give updates only flagships, it discriminates againsts other sibblings. There should be fundamental right for each mobile to have future update.

I've seen zero innovation come out of Xiaomi since Hugo Barra joined.
I've thought for quite a while now Xiaomi brought him on-board not for his expertise, but instead just to bring more credibility and marketability to the Xiaomi brand -- and I'm really starting to think the latter is true. He just brings a recognizable face to what otherwise would just be another Chinese mobile brand, I wonder if he even comes in to the office or Xiaomi execs just tell him to go out and enjoy his time in China and that they'll call if they need him for anything.
He's obviously not having enough influence to change their copy-cat ways, unless he's supporting it.

Shouldn't we worry? Enjoy your moment the Chinese still need to copying us. They are now making device so much cheaper already, when they start to produce better design than us. Everyone in North America will be jobless and hopeless.
