the best camera phone will be n86. all that other crap about 20mp or 100mp is just a scam besides if you know anything about cameras mp just means how many pixels the picture is measured in, the sensor is more important when it comes to quality

Uneducated geeks get hyped up over mega pixels not knowing that this does not mean better quality but just love to see high mega pixels on their phones. give them a 5mp camera and say its a 12, they will walk around believing that they got it all. this cant beat the Omnia HD I will not compare.

iphone has a very great camera, with a very beautifull image, and its not more then 2 megapixels, while N96 has a 5 megapixel camera and not giving the quality Iphone gives.

This megapixel war is getting pointless. What next, SLR beating 20MP phones? The quality is still far off a proper digital camera. MP is pure marketing, not a indication of anything.

n nokia should stop puttin everything in one box with nothing to its best.. it suks ...
lg n samsung are doing much better with bringing up the competition n innovation to the market..

it's still a crap phone despite the 12MP but it's better than Nokia and SE. LG will likely announce their 12MP with Google android probably this summer.
Nokia should cancel the n97 and the entire N series once and for all and develop a new phone with an original name and create a sleek creative multitouch UI for symbian s60. SE should shut down they lost the race just like Motorola. Nokia is on the same course if they don't be innovative.

All this 12mpx , will be out rated simply by Nokia N86 8mpxl , bcoz we all kw that samsung , sony , lg have vry poor camera perforamce thatsucks , despite lg is vido recoding

You want a great camera with a simple phone easy to use? Buy this one.
You want a great camera with a smart phone you can tweak and add tons of program, but more difficult to use ? Buy Omnia HD
Simple as that....
And above all, NEVER buy one of those plastic toys from Nokia.

Wow, this is really stupid. Such high end HW specs and no open OS. I'd go for the SE Satio or the N97 instead.

Without a smart OS and the ability to install and customize a wide variety of applications, spending the amount of money that this phone is inevitably going to cost is a huge waste.

vowe!!! well 2 b honnest n frank samsung are coming out with mighty phones both nokia and sony ericsson should come with such new generation attractive phones. nokia and sony ericsson for d last 1year are very slow in development of such high end phones.

it doesn't mean higher megapixel = better picture quality.
still a test is needed to see how well the camera can function.
so what if it can take 12MP, if the nosie level is high and the CMOS sensor PPI is not high, is still = losuy camera. so lets wait for the review and see how it perform.
