I think its for existing users as well. I got an email from google telling my limit has been increased to 100 GB.

Yes, everyone gets it. I logged and now I have 115Gb for 2 years. In my dropbox, 23Gb was just lost. But It's very cool that now I have almost 5 times what I had on Dropbox!

Just got the email from Google about this. Pretty nice surprise. Shame I've moved back to Dropbox after the Drive desktop app kept hogging my bandwidth with no option to limit it.

Looks like Dropbox has fallen out of favour with HTC? There aren't any mentions of Dropbox storage for a while, even though it is still being offered, as far as I know. I'm a long time Dropbox user; redeemed and happily using 23 MB of extra Dropbox space with HTC One mini.
