Finally, here's the ver.3 iPhone… or maybe not?

05 June, 2009
The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2009 is getting closer and closer and so does the new iPhone. There were plenty of images created by gifted or not so gifted photoshoppers but the latest batch...

David, 07 Jun 2009Why would i want to carry around a seperate digtial camera ... moreI look forward to being milked of nothing from the free upgrade I'll get for my iPhone 3G, hey because of the iPhone 3G being released in my country I now pay less than half what I used to for ten times the data.

I like how things I used to pay for are now free i.e. visual voicemail.

I don't have to put up with the painful experience of browsing on a tiny little E-Series screen with it's convoluted and tedious menu system.

The business Apps I can get are so far advanced of anything you can imagine installing on your tired old Symbian phone, too bad you never got to use the App store with your 2G iPhone or maybe you'd understand the true power of iPhone OS.

Prepare to be blown away in around 27 hours when the keynote is presented at the WWDC.

Why would i want to carry around a seperate digtial camera for casual day of the week photos like a retard? I only use my proper 12mp Samsung at important events and gatherings.

Then why don't we just make a mobile phone with no multimedia capibilities whatsover and just carry seperate MP3 players, Mp4 players, Cameras, send photos, email and stuff with a laptop?

There is a reason why all these things are in one device, it's becauce we are heading for the future, this is the year 2009 and releasing 3.2 mp camera on an expensive flagship device without bluetooth is unexcusable.

And just now adding mms, copy&paste etc in 2009 is just horrible.
I for one think the 8mp phones out now have the same excellent quality as a proper 5 mp digital camera, which is more then enough.

Of course you can launch multimedia device with a 3.2 mp camera, but then it should be on a midrange lowbudget line, not a high end expensive flagship device, unless it's a proper smartphone, which the iPhone certainly is not, whatever Apple users may say or Apple themselves convince themselves.

Me for one am not comfortable using a so called smartphone without copy&paste that every 11-12 year girl has on the subway, loaded with with apps made for 9 year old, by 9 nine years olds, which the iStore is flooded with.

All these apps you can download that the Apple users say makes it smartphone is pure garbage. 9/10 apps are just fancy named with cool desciptions on what the can do, but they don't do sh*t and a most of the time the apps are childish non proper working versions of real smartphone apps that other smartphones have naturally inbedded in their OS.

I am saying this from experience cause i used to have a an Iphone 2G 8GB before i gave to my little girl cousin. I was very satisfied ans impressed with the music capibilities, and that was about it. Now i have the Nokia E71, which is not a multimedia monster, it does it's job, but as a smartphone, it chews up the iPhone and spits it out.

What bothers me is that Apple is releasing yet another phone with uppgrades that easily could have been fixed in the 1st generations iPhones with a good dedicated firmware.

Instead they are just adding 1.2 mp more, mms, copy&paste and tweaking the CPU a little bit, and voila! Ready to kisk Apple fans in the balls and suck their money dry yet another year.

If any of you thinks that Apple could not have put 1.2 mp more, mms, copy&paste and tweaking the CPU a little bit already in the 3G version, please raise your hands, i thought so. So why didn't the do it? Well ask your bank account manager.

Anyone who thinks that Apple could esaily have put at least a 5 mp camera in this "new" iPhone 2009, please raise your hands, well i thought so again.

Apple only have one phone, and every year must be about innovation and development, especially for a comapny like Apple, not adding stoneage applications that even low budget budget phones used to have in 1998 or something.

If Apple follows their money sucking plan and keep taking advantage like this of their hardcore fanbase then it an iPhone won't be worth buyin til the model that comes out year 2012 or something.

I already cut loose from Apple and iTunes(makes me angry just thinking about that irritating software), i am not falling for this unless they show real innovation instad of milking their loyal fans to the last drop of blood with so called garbage "upgrades".

Yeah sure. Only IF his holyness, St. Jobs and Co. will allow their apps to be sold. Remember, some applications run in conjunction with other apps or services to function. Something the iPhone cannot accommodate by design - Because Apple said so.

That's my whole point. The design of the iPhone is good but there are some features that leave developers with their hands tied. The iPhone's inability to multi-task really spoils a potentially wonderful experience. This is something I have heard many iPhone users complain about. What a shame!

Developers are flocking to the iPhone platform in droves, some people who develop iPhone Apps are getting rich and quitting their day jobs because of the 70% cut they get.

Thousands of new Applications are added every week across many different types the iPhone OS is stable and robust and easy to develop for.

Maybe you should go look at what's being done with iPhone's.

yawn.... I want something with potential. Something that will allow me to run the apps I want without the censorship police restricting me. Something that pushes the limits of technology and allows developers to explore them. Something with a parent company like that encourages developers to evolve and fosters their growth.

Apple and their OS does not allow this. Apple is all about the control. This has been Apple's way from the beginning and it will be their way forever. Unfortunately this will be their undoing as the rest of the world improves the mobile OS to a point where the iPhone, particularly their features and capabilities will become archaic and unattractive.

If it doesn't run Google's Android, I DON'T WANT IT. Give it time people. The little Green Robot is here. Prepare for a revolution!

iPhone v1.0 was crap. v2.0 was crap. Hardware sucks. The only amazing thing I found is the design and the games. I am not trying to offend all of u who have iPhones, what I am saying is this device is very premitive to what is avaliable in the market for much better price. I know software can be improved but Apple is not doing anything about the hardware at all. P.S: I own an iPhone 3G too. :) :( n i don't know why.!@!@%^@#($
