05 September, 2014
The budget device adds stereo speakers to its repertoire, and retains its barely-believable $179.99 price.

Battery too small for a 5 inch device. Nexus 5 has 2300mh battery and people complain about that. OK moto g has weaker chipset and lower res screen but I would be surprised if you get decent battery life from this new moto.

When you have a phone already your attention is on other things so I completely missed this.

What I noticed was ZTE would be releasing a phone in the UK and I was hoping others would follow with there typical 13Mp Quad Core which costs $400 in their home market

Yesterday Nokia announced the Lumia 830 costs €330 which is $428 like I said I missed it, so different Operating System http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=6638&idPhone2=6647

No doubt specs will improve and the price will remain as competition kicks in.
Not 4G LTE, but the price wow

Same 2070 mAhr battery which was in Moto G? :(

As the screen size has increased and so the phone size, G2 should have had at least close to 3000 mAhr Battery.

To mention, little extra cost would never mattered a customer if it has a 3000mAhr Battery...

Same specs, just expandable memory, a better camera and a bit larger display.
Should have provided atleast 2500mAH battery and removable battery.

lol, moto G was very popular mainly because of price and compact size with decent battery life, so what does motorola do... they make it ridiculously huge with the SAME battery.

The price might be the same, but the sales won't. Lenovo will hopefully fix Google's mistakes.

Boooring and high price for old hardware. It must have 410 at least with fm radio and 4.5-4.7 is enough for a phone so disappointed

Thank you Motorola for the 5' display and the Micro SD Card Slot.
Hoping this has a dual sim version avble!

I am Massively Appealed by the FRONT Mounted STEREO Speakers, i am ready to drop my pants to run fast and grab this phone!!
