I think the department handling the trade off are either dumb or stupid. Why on earth will you place that kind of value for an iphone and cheapning the motorola in front of the whole word? Do you know how inferior it made your product look? For me I think the best idea is to reverse the value making motorola phones quote more than any other.

Mohsin, 08 Sep 2014Yeah...coz u dont have to pay for ur phone...lolHaha, yep. Well said.

The only issue I have is these contracts are all 24-month plans. I don't think I've ever had a phone last 2 years.

$25 for my old moto g is an absolute bargain considering this is already a cheap phone. Its almost a year old so 25 i would take right now!

Yeah, it's a nice ideal to be able to own your own phone - but it just makes so much more sense to just have it on a contract these days.

It's the practical way of doing it.

In North America, in order to get the best deal on a device, you will have to sign a contract. The average person can't put out $400 to $700 to get a device off contract.Recently, the carriers have been offering monthly payments off contract, but if you leave the carrier prior to term, you have to pay the remainder of the price of the device.
