It's the same with Android which is much more power hungry than iOS. And there are several reasons for that, I can give a few examples from the top of my head:
- Google has no experience making Operating Systems / Apple makes Operating Systems since the dawn of personal computers
- Google adapted a version of x86 Debian Linux to work with ARM CPUs / iOS was written from scratch to work with ARMs
- Android has to work with all the hardware/resolutions / iOS is compiled on one CPU architecture and a fixed resolution
- Android runs Java Virtual Machines, its SDK is based on Java / iOS does not, its SDK is based on Objective C, which is one of the most advanced programming language and apps run natively on its hardware

I wont be getting for 6 months ... morethe same here. I didn't get the note 4 because nothing really change on my note 3. I was planning to buy nexus well I bought note 3 instead of that need bigger screen. I decided to sell my 5s soon then replace it with iphone 6.
by the way phone are you using? i might well give so advice if your planning to buy one. it depends on your need mate.

Damn my contract free 64gb One Plus One is cheaper than the 64gb Plus on contract. I get why people like Apple products and that is cool but I just prefer the way that Android works and what it allows me to do. The fact that Apple is only now catching up to features that have been available for years and playing them off like they are now revolutionary is kinda fun, it also makes the lawsuits that they have filed against other companies kinda funny as well. I guess sometime next year they will finally add widgets and pen it as the greatest thing since sliced bread.

Apple... moreand it's quite true when you reread some gsm arena s3 neo got 4.4.4 kitkat but the s4 and s5 doesn't it yet. if I want an android phone, I'll go with google nexus latest os updates.
