It is all about the margins.
Apple spends a lot of money in developing their own chipsets, hw design, buying smaller companies for patents or technologies they want to incorporate in their devices, market research, developing of iOS, all that crap invisible to customers like you and me, plus their profit and production costs, they end up with quite a price for a device. That's why they choose to sell their phones via carriers 2 year contracts.
On the other hand, companies like the ones you mentioned, they buy all the components (screens from Samsung or Sharp, or worse, chipsets from Qualcomm, intel, MediaTek, nVidia, etc) Android is free, so all they have to do, is to add their value (whatever they can if they poduce any component) and branding in a nice (or cheap) package and sell it.

Ok Ifans, can you tell me 2 new things Apple brought to the table with their new phones, besides size? The reason everybody is “crazy negative” about the new Iphone is the fact that it’s not very new but Ifans will defend it to the death. Just admit it, the emperor has no clothes. And the fact that apple will sell a ton is meaningless, that like saying one music artist is better that another because their music sells more, not because it’s actually better.

Actually contemplating trying iPhone out again after this release. I really do love the design and have been following it quite closely recently, so that may be a sign. I am a current android user and am happy, but am also open to trying things.

Apple did something some years ago and paved his way to success: marketing. There is no way they loss that unless they build phones with bad quality, which I doubt. Also there's the fact that the phone is user friendly, plain and simple, like their computers, that's a huge point of sales, the vast majority of people don't like to struggle with complex settings and stuff.
This phone will sell like pancakes because of that, nobody can deny that.

People who buy iphones are the ones that have more money because when I put it in an android perspective they think what phone with the best buck price so they're is "caution or conscious" buying behavior so they still careful with the money. it's a different market when I see in my opinion.

I agree with the fact that in theory it is better than IPS in power consumption and deeper black but the implementation so far is really bad. The matrix has way too much black for each pixel which translate in pixels being visible with a naked eye even over 300 dpi and an overall "dirty" shade of white as well as poor visibility in sunlight.
To understand exactly what I am talking about, you can compare the pixel matrix of an IPS (let's say Sony Xperia Z2 if you like Adroids) with the matrix of a Super AMOLED whichever you consider the best and check the area covered by the subpixels against the black area of a single pixel.
