A good question at this point is: Does Win9 and WP9 (or whatever they end up calling them), represent a last chance for MS to unify their desktop/mobile platforms?

The major problem with Windows phone is lacking of killer apps which are only available in both iOS and Android but not in Windows.
Very unfortunate Microsoft is totally ignore in this area!
