That first video is HIGH - FREAKING - LARIOUS. I would SERIOUSLY doubt that samsung wanted THAT person to put a video out. He OBVIOUSLY didn't know what he was doing.

I'm not that worried though. I have the first omnia, and watching some of the videos, you would've thought that it didn't work properly either.

*ouch* Anyone notice the final screen in the demo vid ("A problem has occured"). That interface looked horrendous! Cube looked completely out of control and 90% of the inputs were misinterpreted... sheesh.

i have a feeling that this is actually the unpacked samsung mystery phone. if you see the x-ray image again, you'll find out a hexagonal outline in the bottom of the phone. this new omnia is the only one which has it.

I currently have an Omnia i900 (win mobile 6.1) god I hope this has win mobile 6.5 & lets hope win mob 6.5 works, just to make my i900 usable i had to install software that should come with the Os.

Thumbcal - A usable calendar (win mob 6.1 pathetic)
HTC X Button - So when u press X it actually closes the program
Notif Blinker - the power button flashes if you have messages even in sleep mode
Tread software - sms threaded or unthreaded

All this should be standard hopefully will be on win mobile 6.5

Also lets hope the camera is 10 times better than the one on i900 outside shots are perfect but move indoors or at night and my 2 megapixel old phone takes a better picture.

-> for those who complain that this phone don't have a qwerty, please use omnia first before you complain
-> for those who complain about the cube, it doesn't matter actually, chage ui. Plenty to choose from
-> for those who complain why it is winmo, please use it first. Don't ever complain that it is not Symbian because winmo is far more better than Symbian. In Symbian you cannot edit office document.

If this phone will offer 3.5mm jack, i'll definitely buy this smart phone. This is one thing i hate on my omnia, not having a 3.5mm jack. other than that i'm perfectly fine with omnia

Same as the Omnia I first tested. It takes an average of 1.5 seconds to respond to the your taps. Even after a soft reset. Imho, why pack t with so many features when the basics are not even dealt with? Laggy interface with packed features. Samsung is going down the "Nokia" route.

did anyone else notice how much the demo guy was struggling with the touchscreen, that thing barely looked like it was working
the interface was clunky and that cube thing seemed to have a mind of its own.
im a big fan of samsung, and on paper this phone looks brilliant, but i must say that in this day and age, with phones like the pre and the iphone common place, an interface and touch screen this clunky is simply unacceptable
