all is great but insisting on claiming that the retail price is just what annoys me,, when u pay 200$ for a phone and then need to pay 50$ per month for 2 years then they shouldn´t claim that it´s retail price is 200$,, here u can get a phone for 99cents with a 2 years contrcat,, can we say then that it costs 99cents!

id rather b able to multitask, take gud photos, edit them on my phone, record hd vdeo, view flash content on the web. i think u dont understand the difference between useful and fun

Oh my god thats it?! I'm sure we were all expecting some prper changes and a cosmetic overhaul, instead we get the SAME design and features most phones have anyway. Now is the time to get an iphone 3g cheap as this is not that much of an upgrade is it?

it's the same old s____ (feel free to supply the proper word). It's not innovative. Nothing's new. Apple keeps on recycling the success of the original iPhone and if they keep on doing this s____, iPhone will meet its natural death in the not-so-distant future.

Even this way, this is the best phone that you can get. Sure. some other phones have much better camera possebilities but still, the iPhone is far better user experience. It was olways and will be just much more fun and much more usefull in everyday life than any other device.

Mr X, 09 Jun 2009I fail to see how video recording is an "amazing feature". Flash support by adobe is an amazing feature and it looks like Apple doesn't want to give that feature or bring it to the IPhone ever in the future

Sure the new Iphone 3GS is a small upgrade which to many people it is no different in looks and performance. For Apple these specs its pulling is a "1st" for them, as in "programming it" into their device. Whereas we the consumers find these specs not new, as we have seen them in other phones way before Apple got into the industry. So you gotta think timeline wise for them, it is a new level though not ground breaking. Fair is fair. Yet your opinion is entirely yours and yours alone. I welcome the VGA@30fps, as it seems everyone else is offering it too. Though 5MP camera with burst shots would be awesome fun for skating ticks and animals doing LOL stuff. Oh well.

This phone is an official flop, because it's more expensive than a N97 32GB and a Ipod Touch combined!!!
But I actually think Apple wanted to "test" the market. I even this crap will sell, then there won't be any point of upgrading it further later. However, hopefully it will fail, and Apple will have to do a new remake, and quick as well. Of course Apple will do so, because there are currently a lot of unsure people that was put off by this announcment, even if they'd lose some sales or fans for "admitting their fault".
Don't buy this yet, wait IF it'll flop! If yes, then a new and BETTER version will be guaranteed!

i am using an Iphone 3g. first i had the 2g and i definitely had to upgrade because since i had an iphone i never wanted to use a different phone. the iphone is amazing, so many apps to chose from, themes are amazing, the browser is awesome, camera had goos quality, SO much to say but all i can say is that ill be waiting for this iphone 3Gs! i love it now that is has video rec. & FM transmitter!

That was one of the 100 new things announced in March.

I think Apple iphone should havemore multimedia option specially FM radio...todays stylish smartphone or all types of mobile phone of many brand has camera,blutooth,fm radio with radio recorder,mp3,mp4,etc.iphone ofcource is very useful for using internet,but,even it should have fm radio or bluetooth.
