Great, but why only eastern markets? It would be great to offer these phones in Europe too, not all of us can afford flagships - some people even midrange phones. And of course, in Europe directly via Google, as carriers would blow up the price anyway.

After watching the video of this Android One Spice on Youtube,this will be hit for sure,no lags,may be 215 ppi screen,front facing cam,may be i will buy it for mom.

These phones are not worth it, especially given the terribly paltry internal storage.
I LOL when I read about how they can download YouTube videos, etc... and where the heck will they store all these content?
The resolution is poor beyond imagination. I also wonder about the sunlight visibility.
The battery is pathetically puny.
A low end device should be at least useable, this one is just not worth the money
