Powerranger b, 11 Jun 2009It may be a nice phone spec wise but ..it looks like a ming... moredesign is perfect, specs are perfect (no need for a 512 RAM on a phone) but the CPU will be better I promise you just like I promised that Xperia will run on WM 6.5 but most of you said it will run on Android OS

X1 is much pritier and if specs are almost the same there is no reason to buy this one instead of X1 (software is the biggest question here, but I'm sure that someone will create a rom for X1 with software from X2)

Truly SE is Number One. I am already excited to replace my X1. 3.5" screen is fabulous and its design is fantastic. To all SE fans, expect mstL criticism (his normal copy and paste) lambasting SE phone products will be in this forum shortly, but just ignore him, he just feel jelous because his NOKIA doesn't produce not a single decent phone.

It >looks< good...even if it's just rumor mill strong. However my current reservation is about cellphone makers' inconsistent stance to OS platform designers' tunes. They have the necessary market clout to affect change,at least demand for clearer developmental benefits to profit motives.I strongly argue that if MS plans to hold decent grounds in the smartphone OS to market share penetration ratio then they must hold the line and streamline Windows 7 (yes the PC OS...) to coincide with WinMo 7.Why?That's exactly what Apple did right for its iPhone, hardware deficient or not, criticisms or not.But the officiated Win 7 launch date already disappoints and proves that MS are being too quick to address the Vista fiasco.User experience is the key word and it's obvious that the dev cycle disparity between Win and WinMo 7 are being divided as 2 diff sets of priorities when it should be treated as a true synergy. One must balance the other.I personally think that SE should seriously consider to port this model branching into Symbian/Android alternatives. Both SE and HTC are still adamant at prolonging Apple's elementary mistake of price fixing by way of over emphasis on visual aesthetics.Even less wiser considering they they're riding on WinMo 6.5 et comparo to the much celebrated (also overhyped IMO) mobile OS X yet the latter admittedly delivers on usability fronts.Nokia and Samsung can enjoy charging a premium on their smartphone range for the simple fact that their users can opt to go Symbian,on top of excellent hardware features' array.SE could have won big at X1 before.Let's hope that they plan to (and WILL) get it right this time with X2...

I am trying to be excited this time, but I just can't. SE always mocked us, so I won't be excited this time either.

No pessimism please! For the definitive processor speed and the ram we've got to wait 'til the official announcement. I think that SE is trying to see if the X1 (not the X2) will be able to run windows mobile 6.5. The X2 will surely have a big upgrade (that 1ghz snapdragon and 512mghz in order to run WiMo 7).

it's interesting: what about manufactory, HTC again?
I'm happy with my X1 except housing, after few months of use my device looks like from hell scratched and so on. Before I used Motorola Q- housing much more better.
