Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 gets snow-white, prettier than before

11 June, 2009

So every cloud does have a silver lining after all. The Sony Ericsson fans were treated to some pretty uninspiring shots of the new XPERIA X2 last week but now its reappearance gives more reason to cheer. Wearing a shiny new white and silver dress the XPERIA X2 has this time even posed for a couple of screenshots.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 is yet to be officially announced by the company but rumors about its specs are already spreading like forest fire around the web. Seeing the screenshots we can now safely confirm that it will run on Windows Mobile 6.5 and will sport 3G with HSDPA support. Also based on the previous leak it will come with an 8 megapixel auto focus shooter and a LED flash. The X-panels interface almost doesn't need to be mentioned - this is an XPERIA we are talking about after all.

On the other hand the current leak shows that the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 will come with 256 MB of RAM and a Qualcomm MSM7200 chipset with a 528 MHz processor just like the XPERIA X1. Previous rumors had it that it will sport 512 MB of RAM and a faster CPU but it seems we won't be that lucky. Let's hope that at least the bit about the 3.5" WVGA OLED display turns out correct.

I have to disagree... iPhone for the win. =) More or less... Apple or Google will rule the world someday. Microsoft would be in that list, except for the fact that they're the parent of Vista. O_o
