you android users have this for many years.
"just wait for the next version of android. It's going to be the greatest and bestest."
yet the problem still persists in android. they all crap out after 9 months, and that's being generous, because the hardware and software problems.
android has been quite buggy, regardless.
hardware. flagships seem to think they can compensate for the lagginess by putting together a phone of powerful specs, but powerful specs usually leads to a shorter life spam of the phone, which means, the phone won't last very long, we are talking one year. and since it's hardware based any new updates for android usually results in deadly lag if the phone is upgraded, and again not the best idea.

When comparing the iphones to androids, its understood that were talking high end androids, which struggle to sell when compared to the iphone. Look Sony's 1.2 billion dollar loss this year for reference.
And as for the usability comment, atleast iphones dont require factory resets every month to function properly.

I do have to admit the iPhones smoothness in user interface and quality, but for functionality, capabilities, productivity and overall value for money, the Note 4 wins hands down. And with the new Android L just around the corner, that iPhone smoothness advantage might just about to be cut down to a minimum or none existent.

As for functionality, after my 1 month old S5 developed the mm-qcamera-daemon bug and drained 80 percent of my battery in 2 hours, all with no known solution rather than a full factory reset, I cant wait to sell it and get an iphone. And I paid full cash for my Galaxy S5, 740 USD.
Never gonna spend a cent on Android again unless they can work out the bugs. I know a friend with an Iphone 3GS that just had a battery change this year and works flawlessly. No bugs, no factory resets required.

They have 61.9% market share vs apples 32.5% in the US. Individual companies selling android are struggling to meet previous sales but that's because there is so much competition in the android market (awesome for buyers) and all of these new companies selling decent phones at even cheaper prices. There is so much selection of companies and range of phones with android its not even funny. Specs are not everything sure but specs vs price is everything. I personally would love top specs but price holds me back. I bought an s3 because it was $350NZ and to be honest i struggle to use my work 5c after using the s3. The 1 button thing is a joke, itunes don't even get me started on how crap a program that is. No copy/paste is a deal breaker i would never buy a phone without this function, it makes life soooo much easier.

The iPhone 6 plus "retina" display is still beaten by the Note 4 truer retina QHD Super Amoled display (according to displaymate, not me;). Hmm.. I wonder why that is... Maybe because of the bluish white of the iPhone's display or is it because lcds are forever doomed to always have to have backlighting that they'd never enjoy the infinite contrast and the perfect black of the Amoled while the Note 4 Samoled has already achieved the most realistic color rendering?.. It appears so..

No wonder they sell like hotcakes - it must have been terrible for Apple users to cope with the stupid small 4" screen for all those years.
Pretty sad that Iphone users probably never will try the Xperia Z3 which seems to be a much better phone...
