After reading the comments posted here, I would just like to say this....I get hundreds of communications per day which mostly consist of emails, BBM, whatsapp, fb messenger and sms. And I really like trying new OS's. So far I have has 2 android phones, an iPhone 5, a lumia 620 and now a Blackberry Z3. I used to laugh at people with blackberry and think that is was a dumb OS. Until I tried it. No other OS can give you a better virtual keyboard typing experience or the enormous benefit of the Hub. The hub is the best thing that BB has to offer imo and EVERYTHING can be found there. For messaging junkies or just a ton of emails, you cannot beat a BB. I encourage people to try it before they knock it.

Passport looks huge and not comfort to carry about. After a lukewarm receiving of Z3 let us hope the Passport is going to mend the wound of the latter handset.

Passport is coming!! Dont worry for the newest apps/games right now on BlackBerry because the new BlackBerry10 OS verson 10.3 has a now an Amazon Appstore which you can download most of your favorite Android Apps/Games. Price is actually not bad eventually it will go even lower. And to those BlackBerry haters sorry this company is so alive and kickin your ass.

$599 translates into about €599 in many EU countries. That is OK for me. Although still not convinced about the rectangular form I consider buying one in December. I own a Q10 which I bought as SIM-free at €659 in August 2013, and I have got recently a Z30 at work. Very satisfied with both of them!

I dont mind trying BB PP if the price range remain same in my country....hope they have Wharsapp and similar apps available (office, Camscanner, Youtube, Drive, Hangout)

I'm an expat who travels frequently and need an efficient email ready device. Tried the Samsung, Sony and other android based systems and the iPhone as well. Currently using the Z30 - it's an incredible device ie. simple and intuitive . Best typing experience so far. The Passport looks very tempting but I am super spoiled by the excellent virtual keys on the Z30 - which is tI my experience , is faster than the current keys in the 9900 or the Q10
