Ivan you are factually incorrect as a Android phones eg Samsung S5 is less to buy than and iPhone 6 but has a lower residual value therefore total cost of ownership is higher than iPhone. Thereforeit costs more to buy a Android phone than an iPhone
In the end people buy what they want and in many cases what they cannot afford as phone companies spread the cost over a 24 months plan.
Buy and use what you want and what you want to afford. Phones are not a status of
being rich or poor and it's a shame you view them as this
