Well, let's see. My 1020 has a GREAT design and it's manly structure tells allot of it's personality, great and resistive materials and superclear screen, in sunlight your phones look like they want to die, well, i can even play games, that is how good the screen is. I recieve emails, i post on gsmarena. I program my work, i surf the internet i play some games, talk for hoours everyday, watch vidoes, create ideas, write and send documents, read pdf edit pdf send pdf and all microsoft office stuff, and all of this with ease, really easy. And besids all of this i take better pictures you fanboy will ever be able to take. Yeah, have to admit, camera is the "only" good thing in it. If you use a smartphone to take great pictures;).

After seeing how "great" iphones photos look in front of nokia then come here and talk nonsense. I'm sick of seeing this ibend fan boys commin' here with oh, my iphone takes great pictures and while holding them and doing some shuts that say everything: Less then avarage, my brothes520 can do better. Everyday people can see iphone photos posted on face, and dam if that crappy images can be called great shots. Wake up for God sake. Iphone camera is the camera Nokia used almost 10 years ago in n82, and am still not sure of that cause 82 is taking better pictures. Get over it, ibends. Your phone is not that great, is expensive and it bends. Get over it, relax, my boys.

Why is this in the news feed? $340 for an old sim locked phone is nothing sensational, actually its just lame, its not like you can buy it and use it as your own with any sim, still strings attached, i bet it cannot be unlocked for free before 24 months. Bad deal, locked is locked, contract or not.

I don;t want this POS I want a Nokia 808 Pureview! That's even today more usable as a proper non-cloud-dependant device and takes better still photo's (quicker).
Why do they keep selling this crap? Nobody wants WP it sucks! No sideloading of apps when these bozo's stop "support" (and they eventually WILL stop support just ask these WP7.8-users).

I think that some iPhone owners live in this det... moreNothing detached here, I've actually tried a bunch of phones and until I got the iPhone 6 Plus, I have always said that the Nokia had the best camera out there.
But the Nokia does have lag and it is not usable for rapid shots, which is what phone camera are most often used for. This is why I ended up with an Xperia Z2, which has now been replaced by the iPhone 6 Plus.
I would rank the iPhone 6 Plus first, than the Nokia, then the Xperia and only then the GS5, which has an unacceptably poor dynamic range for me and which I returned.
Again, don't just take my word for it, look at the comparison tool, particularly at the yellows and the greens, where the Nokia is almost as bad as the GS5.
But, to each his own.

Try taking a photo of falling snow, with a LED you'll just get white lines across the picture. And it's not far from flashes in compact cameras. I agree the 6 has a good camera in daylight and non-moving low light situations (hey they got a Nokia guy this year) but the fact that iOS8 is now open for apps with advanced camera settings speaks for itself. An average user will just use default settings for everything anyway.

So gsmarena does have a scaling feature below the chart. Set to 8mp and the difference is astronomical. Lol

Every single app are starting so much slower as compared to recent flagships. Even running WP8.1 DP is already like killing it. Can't imagine if it can even run the next Windows 10.

No matter how much the software improved, it will not speed things up because the hardware is at their limits for 41MP of photos! Unless there is a successor for 1020, this current model will continue to be good for being a portable camera only.

Notice the relative size of the images? gmsarena should include a 5 or 8mp shot of the 1020 for better comparison. Then we could compare size for size and see the power of oversampling
