Woah.. It's really nice! THAT's what I'd call a showy interface! I love it ^^. Now... I'd like to see a proper review showing how do these loudspeakers perform, and, obviously, how does the camera do, too...

I think that HTC is the brand that gives out phones for the people that love to fine tune their devices, and want performance and style. I like the design of the HTC Hero very much. I find it user friendly. I think it's going to be a hudge succes among the HTC fans.
But hey, that's only me, hope you feel the same way I do. ;)

It looks from the video that it supports Exchange e-mail. That would be a very good feature which I wasn't aware Android otherwise had.

tt, 24 Jun 2009too small screen, only 3.2, and too expensive. Not small, the biggest screen out there is Toshiba's TG01 and is 4.1" .. so can you call the iPhone's or Satio's 3.5" screen too small? No, the commonly used touch mobiles out there range from 3.0" to 3.5" so 3.2" isn't small at all.

z, 24 Jun 2009if this continue, Android going to be the best OS ever!Android already is the best OS. ;)
Minor correction to the article, the HTC Magic/Ion/Saphire also sports capacitive technology and technically supports multi-touch, it's only held back in software due to patent issues with Apple - however it appears HTC (caused by other manufacturers releasing multi-touch devices?) are softening up on this. In other words, it's likely the Donut update will add support multi-touch to existing devices.

Does anyone know if a standalone turn-by-turn and route loss recalculation GPS navigation app can be installed on Android (no monthly fee based from the service provider)? If there is one then I am sold to switch from wm6.1 from the i900 Omnia to the cool Android.

Hardware design-wise, I still don't like that "chin" at the bottom...but the UI looks great though! A lot better than the default Android UI....

Looks like a solid phone. HSDPA 850 / 1900 indicates AT&T in it's future. Is this the iPhone competitor we've been looking for?

T-Mobile is not as bad as you make it out to be...anyway, this device might be going to Verizon since they are launching a android based phone. This is an awesome device great look and great features. I cannot wait to get my hands on one!

Why don't they just say Black instead of Graphite? Anywho, I bet TMobile will pick up this junkheap. Seems like their kind of phone as well as the G1. I truly dislike being with that company.

Actually, it needs an upgrade already. 528 mhz processor instead of the Snapdragon 1 ghz processor: no OLED display, no 800 X 480 resolution. I like what I see, but I wish they would upgrade the technology.
