Moto G5 and G5 Plus now listed for pre-order in Germany, ship in 4 weeks
The Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus have been listed for pre-order in Germany with major online retailers. Before you get overly excited - they won't start shipping for another four weeks.
The lower-specced Moto G5 carries a price tag of €199 and in Germany that gets you a version with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage - other markets may get different options. The 5-inch FullHD display, Snapdragon 430 chipset and 13MP primary camera are all there, regardless of region.

The Moto G5 Plus, on the other hand, can be yours (again, in four weeks) for €289. The €90 premium gets you a larger 5.2-inch FullHD display, frugal Snapdragon 625 SoC, and 12MP f/1.7 camera with large pixels (dual, too - for fast focusing). The price here is for the 3GB/32GB version.
You have plenty of time before the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus become available and if you need to make up your mind whether pre-order is the way to go, check out our hands-on preview of the two phones.
Thanks to Simeon Chatzipanagiotou for sending this in!

Very frustrating all this waiting. Phones that launch at the Barcelona event should be ready for sale within two weeks to capitalise on the rash of publicity. I might just get an Honor 6X as I really don't think I can wait another month to get a G5 P...
