OnePlus 8 Pro sale in India ends in minutes after stock runs out

Blink and you miss it – Amazon India and OnePlus made the OnePlus 8 Pro briefly available online, but all units were gone minutes later. The phone was available on both sites, which have since hung up “out of stock” signs.

The Pro was available at INR 55,000 for the 8/128 GB model and INR 60,000 for 12/256 GB. The new Ultramarine Blue color is exclusive to the pricier tier while the other two hues (Onyx Black and Glacial Green) can be had with either storage capacity.

There were some incentives to buy, including an instant discount of INR 3,000 if you pay with an SBI card or use an EMI transaction. Carrier Jio offered benefits “worth INR 6,000” (these were actually broken up in 40 installments of discount coupons).

This sale was only for the Pro model, if you prefer the vanilla OnePlus 8 then mark June 29 on your calendar – both the vanilla and the Pro models will be back on sale at 12 noon local time.

OnePlus cannot mass produce like the others, so they don’t have a choice. U think if they have a billion to sell they would not?
