Redmi K80 Pro cameras revealed, telephoto shooter is finally coming
Redmi will introduce the K80 Pro flagship on November 27, but the Xiaomi brand is not shying away from teasing specs before the launch. This morning, we learned major details about the camera setup on the back, including that it will be the first time we see a Redmi K phone with a telephoto shooter and that it will have OIS.
The main camera is simply listed to have a LYT-800 sensor by Sony, and we know it is 50 MP. OIS is also coming for this shooter, which is less of a surprise. The telephoto cam will also have a 50 MP sensor, and thanks to the “floating” lens, as Redmi calls it, the shooter can take close-up shots 10 cm from the object.
The ultra-wide-angle camera will have a 32 MP sensor and a 120-degree field of view - another major upgrade over the mediocre UW shooters on previous Redmi K phones.
The brand is so proud of the Redmi K80 Pro cameras that it shared two samples on its Weibo profile. They are taken with the telephoto lens, and the spider is just 10 cm from the device.
Xiaomi will launch the Redmi K80 Pro in China. It will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and a powerful 6,000 mAh battery. We will have to wait and see whether the device will exit the domestic market under the same name or go global under the Poco brand.

Better for close ups with the telephoto but the Realme gt7 pro has a 3x periscope with a much higher quality sensor which will be far better for longer zoom ranges so it depends on whether you want close ups or you want better quality zoom from 3-6x ...
