Xiaomi 15 Ultra details leak, battery size won't impress
Xiaomi's 15 Ultra is coming soon, perhaps in February like its predecessor or in January as some rumors have been saying. Today Digital Chat Station has shared some more details on Weibo regarding Xiaomi's upcoming top of the line device, in a since-deleted post.
The 15 Ultra will allegedly have about the same screen size as the 14 Ultra, also with small curves on all sides, and the same resolution. So, expect a 6.73-inch panel with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,440x3,200 resolution.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra leaked rendersOn the rear will be a 1-inch type main camera with f/1.63 aperture, and there's no mention of variable aperture so that may be gone. Next, a 50 MP short-distance zoom telephoto (probably 2x), and a 200 MP probably 4.3x periscope telephoto.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also have IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance and wireless charging, but if you were expecting a huge battery it's time to think again, apparently. Rumor has it the cell capacity will be between 5,450 mAh and 5,800 mAh, so not quite in the 6,000 mAh space in which some competitors are playing, but that all has to do with how much space the 15 Ultra's cameras demand (and Xiaomi not wanting to create a phone that's too thick).

I highly doubt the variable aperture will go, it was one of the selling points of the 14 Ultra and more manufacturers are adapting it. I'm not sure though.
