Poco M7 Pro gets listed on Google Play ahead of launch
The Poco M7 Pro is getting official on December 17, and ahead of that we've already seen it getting a bunch of different certifications across the globe. It was also teased not once, but twice by the brand itself.
Today the phone has been spotted in the Google Play supported device list, which is another prerequisite step for a launch. The listing confirms the phone's name and model number for India (2409FPCC4I), as well as its "beryl" codename.
The Google Play listing hasn't revealed any more details about the device, but Poco itself has already confirmed that it will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM.
The Poco M7 Pro will run Android 14 with HyperOS on top when it launches, and will be supported with two major OS updates and four years of security patches - so it will end its life on Android 16. It has a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 2,100-nit peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The handset's main camera will have f/1.5 aperture and will use Sony's Lytia LYT-600 sensor, while for selfies you'll get a 20 MP snapper. Other officially outed specs include a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos.
If all of these specs sound familiar, it's because they're identical to those of the Redmi Note 14, which is already available in some markets.

Of course we don't have the full spec sheet for the Poco M7 Pro yet, so other details may differ, but so far the M7 Pro is definitely looking like it's going to be a rebrand job.
