Tecno unveils Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro, Camon 40 Pro 5G and Camon 40 Premier 5G
Tecno premiered four Camon 40 smartphones at the MWC 2025, as promised. They are all focused on premium camera experience featuring a large 50MP OIS primary camera.

Tecno Camon 40 is the most basic member of the series with a 6.78-inch 1080p 120Hz AMOLED screen and powered by the Helio G100 chip by MediaTek.
The Camon 40 features a 50MP OIS primary camera on the back, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide shooter and an additional small camera, probably a depth sensor. The front camera is 32MP with a fixed focus.
The Camon 40 is available with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage. It is powered by a 5,200mAh battery capable of up to 45W fast wired charging. The available colors are Black, White, and two versions of Emerald Green.

Tecno Camon 40 Pro is a copy-paste of the Camon 40, but its front camera has been upgraded with a 50MP sensor and autofocus capabilities. It is available only with 256GB storage, and the color options are similar.
Tecno Camon 40 Pro 5G is the same phone as the Camon 40 Pro, but with a different processor – Dimensity 7300 5G, allowing for 5G connectivity, obviously, and 144Hz refresh rate on the display. In addition to the 8GB/256GB version, Camon 40 Pro 5G is also available in 12GB/256GB variant.

Finally, there is the most beefed-up version – Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G. This model features a 6.67-inch 1260p 144Hz premium display, a powerful Dimensity 8350 5G AI processor, and a 5,100mAh battery with 70W fast charging.
The camera department is quite nice – there is a 50MP OIS primary, a 50MP 3x telephoto, and a 50MP ultrawide camera on the back. The front camera is a 50MP imager with autofocus.
The Camon 40 Premier 5G is available with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and you can choose between Black and Emerald Green colorways.

All four phones pack stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and boot Android 15 OS.
Pricing and availability will be shared soon, too.
