Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 now rumored to have a significantly bigger cover display
Last week we saw the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7 in some CAD-based renders for the first time, and today the same source is back with an update. Everything else stays the same except for the cover display, which is growing substantially to basically take over the entire space on the phone's upper half, even incorporating the two cameras.

This is a design we've seen from other companies already, so it's nothing new, but it's nice to see Samsung getting in on the action too. Otherwise, the Flip7 would have looked dated from day one, and that's not great.

The size of the cover display will be around 4". The images above and below all show the new design for the cover display. It definitely makes for a more modern look.

The Flip7 will either be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite or Samsung's Exynos 2500. It's rumored to have a 6.8" inner screen, a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, 12GB of RAM, and 256/512GB of storage. It will measure 166.6 x 75.2 x 6.9 mm (9.1 mm at the camera bumps).

There's no way you can achieve 75mm wide unless you use wider screens like 19.5:9 or 18:9.
