Samsung Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro runs Geekbench, reveals its chipset

Back in January a rumor told us that Samsung was working on the Galaxy Tab Active5 Pro tablet, which would be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Now, the device has been spotted in the Geekbench online database, since a prototype ran the benchmark.
The listing confirms that it is indeed the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 at the helm. In the specific prototype that ran the benchmark, this was paired with 6GB of RAM. More options could be offered, as always.

The tablet is expected to join the non-Pro Tab Active5, which was announced in January, in Samsung's portfolio soon. The Tab Active5 Pro has the model number SM-X356B. It will run Android 15 out of the box when it does launch, with One UI 7 on top of course.
For what it's worth, the prototype that ran Geekbench managed a single-core score of 1,179 and a multi-core score of 3,378. The Tab Active4 Pro dates all the way back to August 2022, so it's definitely time for a replacement.

He's saying it's a reminder that removable batteries and headphone jacks can be waterproofed no problem. We've known this since the Galaxy S5, yet some people still pretend it isn't a solved problem.

Lenovo actually has a fairly decent 8.8 inch if you can live with the compromises it comes with, and Ayaneo also has one on the way that could also be very good if they can figure out support. It might be making a comeback.
