Check out the vivo X200 Ultra’s camera sensors from up close
The vivo X200 Ultra is the highly anticipated range-topping flagship from the brand and it’s expected to launch sometime next month. Ahead of the big announcement, vivo exec Han Boxiao shared our best look at the X200 Ultra’s mighty camera setup.
We already have the sensors for the X200 Ultra and vivo confirmed it will partner with Fujifilm for additional tweaks. We now get a closer look at the actual sensors, which take up a significant chunk of the top half of the device.

The second image showcases the X200 Ultra's 200MP custom Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope module next to the one from the X100 Ultra and an unnamed competitor. The X200 Ultra’s periscope cam is confirmed to bring an 85mm equivalent focal range and larger aperture, which will capture 38% more light than the one in its predecessor. The post also confirmed new lens and prism technology and a special lens coating.

We also get a closer look at the 35mm equivalent 50MP main cam and 14mm ultrawide lens both of which are equipped with Sony LYT-818 sensors. The X200 Ultra’s ultrawide sensor is expected to come in at 1/1.28", which is noticeably larger in size compared to the industry average ultrawide module.

Sadly, the X200 Ultra is not expected to get a global launch and will be one of the growing number of China-exclusive Ultra flagships.
