New vivo X200 Ultra camera samples show off the phone's portrait photography skills

Unlike the previous Ultra and its siblings in the X200 family, the vivo X200 Ultra will have a 35mm lens on its main camera. 35mm is, of course, a classic focal length, as are 50mm, 85mm and 135mm.
vivo product manager Han Boxiao has posted a new batch of camera samples from the X200 Ultra, which were shot at those focal lengths – 35mm and 50mm come from the main camera (50MP 1/1.28” LYT-818) while the 85mm and 135mm ones are from the periscope (200MP ISOCELL HP9).

Han offers some explanations for the shots. The first four photos show off the four focal lengths in sequence.
Photos #5 and #6 were shot at 50mm and 135mm to show the quality of the in-sensor zoom of the main and periscope cameras (that’s how the extra focal lengths are achieved).
Then photos #7 and #8 are portraits shot in low light. Finally, photo #9 uses the phone’s flash to light up the subject and make her pop from the background.
Yesterday, Han posted camera samples that show off zoom capabilities beyond 135mm, so you can have a look at those. And before that, there were samples from the ultra-wide camera.

All of this is also a demo of vivo X200 Ultra’s two image processing chips – the VS1 pre-processor and V3+ ISP. Check out this earlier teaser for a closer look at the cameras and this one for more on the two chips. The vivo X200 Ultra will be unveiled this month alongside the vivo X200s.

Definitely seems like Vivo cameras are purely catered to the Asian markets and model photography. Could seriously see someone like Manny Ortiz use this phone as a back up.
