nubia shares Z70 Ultra camera details
The nubia Z70 Ultra cameraphone is expected to be announced in two days, and nubia is already ramping up the teasers. We already know it will have a screen with a higher resolution and an even higher refresh rate, and today, we learned more about the cameras on the back.
The 50 MP main camera will be the same custom-made 35 mm shooter from the Z60 Ultra but with a variable aperture lens, as recently revealed in a leaked video. The telephoto lens will have a new f/2.48 lens, while the ultra-wide-angle snapper will capture images with a 122-degree FoV.

The main shooter's aperture will be between f/1.59 and f/4.0 with a 7P lens (6 layers of plastic + 1 layer of glass on top). It will also have a dedicated Night Sky mode, which can take pictures of the sky with a long exposure.
The telephoto cam will have a 64 MP sensor and can focus on objects just 15 cm from the device. The f/2.48 is also wider than f/3.3 on the previous model, and will let more light in.
The ultra-wide camera also appears to have been overhauled. It should be able to take pictures from as close as 2.5 cm and will have a 13 mm equivalent lens.
The nubia brand is going all in with making the Z70 Ultra a true camera flagship, and that's why the phone will also have a two-step key to take photos. It will be a physical button, like the Xperia 1 solution and not like the iPhone's capacitive area.

Man, moving away from 18-35-85 to 13-35-70 seems wrong. The former is such a classic trio in photography (18mm can be 16mm or 17mm, but it's around there). Also, the 13mm equivalents are terrible because the lens is actuallly not fully rectiline...

Agree. Z60u with same focal length and improved 35mm. Greatly improved 85mm should be the right choice. Now I am thinking of stick to Z60u and wait for Z80u or maybe switching to Xiaomi...
