Here's how thin the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will allegedly be
Samsung's leaked event invite for its next Unpacked taking place in late January intriguingly shows four devices, not three, and if we go by past rumors that's because the Galaxy S25 family will have a fourth member, alongside the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra - the Galaxy S25 Slim.
With it, Samsung appears to be attempting to prepare for the release of Apple's iPhone 17 Air next September. So with hearing a lot about the Galaxy S25 Slim so far, you may have been wondering just how thin it will be. Today, Chinese leakster Ice Universe has provided us with an answer of sorts.
According to him, we should expect the Galaxy S25 Slim to be 6.x mm thick. So definitely under 7 mm, but we can't tell you exactly how thin just yet.
Samsung Galaxy S24+If this is true then Apple will definitely have the thinnest of the thin smartphones, as its iPhone 17 Air has most recently been rumored to be between 5 mm and 6 mm thick. That said, it's also rumored to sacrifice a lot to achieve that, including having only one rear camera like it's an SE or something.
While the Galaxy S25 Slim will most likely be shown at Unpacked in January, keep in mind that recent rumors have claimed it would only be released later in the year.

In some region they might come close, but worldwide Samsung will dominate. Samsung become like Apple - easy to use familiar device for Android users. Anything else is alien. For geeks only.

Not again...What is this...the third "slimming" war? We saw it with feature phones, then with early smartphones.
