OnePlus 13R gets its first software update
OnePlus unveiled the 13R earlier this week, and the phone is already receiving its first software update. This will basically be available once you power it on for the first time if you buy one, since the phone will only become available in a few days.
Obviously, it's not a huge update, so don't expect a lot of new stuff. There is however a new feature in Photos that lets you personalize watermarks, a new Touch to share feature that supports iOS devices, improved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stability, as well as improved Bluetooth compatibility.
Colors in photos taken with the main camera and telephoto lens have been enhanced, camera performance and stability overall should be better, an issue where photos could be too bright has been fixed, charging status has been added to Live Alerts, and finally the system stability and performance are both improved.

This update includes the December 2024 security patch level, which at this point in January is already a month old. The new build identifies as OxygenOS 15.0.0.403 and is now rolling out across the world in batches.
