The vanilla Samsung Galaxy S25 gets almost the same deal – it’s discount is £100 instead of £150. That said, you still get the free Buds3 Pro and 6 months of Google AI, the £100 Samsung Credit too. Check out our Galaxy S25 vs. S25+ article for a head-to-head comparison.

Before you splurge on an S25, check out the OnePlus 13 – currently, the 12/256GB model is priced right between the S25 and S25+, even the 16/512GB option is cheaper than the S25+. You get a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (with slightly lower clocks), a triple 50MP camera (including a 3x 73mm telephoto vs. 3x 67mm tele with just a 10MP sensor) and a massive 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging (vs. 4,900mAh, 45W/15W on the S25+). The Plus aside, the OnePlus 13 holds its own against the Galaxy S25 Ultra – here’s our head-to-head comparison.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G is under £400 right now. While it doesn’t have a flagship chipset (the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is still pretty nice), it has a 200MP 1/1.4” camera with OIS, a 6.67” 12-bit 120Hz display with Dolby Vision and 1220p+ resolution and a 5,110mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

A reminder from last week, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is now available – well, officially it launches on Monday, but shipping is going to take a couple of days either way. Make sure to compare it with the Redmi. It has a 50MP main camera (1/1.57”) without OIS, but it doesn’t rely on it for zooming – it has a 50MP 2x (50mm) module for that. Plus an 8MP ultra-wide. The Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset is a bit slower than the Snapdragon and the 6.77” 10-bit 120Hz OLED display is a bit larger, but down on resolution and HDR features.

The original CMF Phone 1 is still around, by the way. It has essentially the same chipset as the Pro, but it misses out on the tele camera – it doesn’t even have an ultra-wide. Also, the 6.67” display is smaller, lacks HDR and its peak brightness is lower (2,000 nits vs. 3,000 nits).

No price cut in India. Because there are only two non Chinese android phone brands in India, ie., Pixel and Samsung. Samsung phones are not worth for their price. They launch phones with useless Exynos processors.
