New Google Photos update is aimed at making photo sharing easy

Himanshu, 20 September, 2016

Google has pushed out a new update to its Photos app that is aimed at making the photo sharing process faster and easier. Basically, now you just have to select the people with whom you want to share with, and the app will do the rest.

"If your friends are on Google Photos, they’ll get a notification. If you share via phone number, they’ll get a link to the photos and videos via SMS. And email addresses will get an email with a link from Google Photos," the company said in a blog post.

The update also features new movie concepts. For example, the app will now make videos (using the uploaded photos of course) showing the progress of your child's growth.

The update is rolling out on all supported platforms, including Android, iOS, as well as the Web.

I think they have developed a builtin messenger so now you will be able to share using it instead of whatsapp or other messengers
