Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be landing in India next week - April 19 to be precise. The confirmation came in the form of a tweet from the South Korean company's India subsidiary.

The phones will likely go on sale starting April 21, which is the global launch date. Pricing information isn't currently known though.

A quick look at Samsung's official India website reveals that dual-SIM variants of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be available in the Asian country. The tech giant is currently accepting pre-registrations for the flagship in India.

May be they do not want to affect the on going sales of S7 Edge coz Edge is for 50k and Pearl one is for 56k. SO if you are offering a better phone for lesser price then people will stop buying Edge and wait for S8/S8+.

Even I was a bit shocked.. expected s8+ to be around 56k since these phones are being manufactured in India.. considering that the prices should've been lower
