Thank you so much for the suggested solution. I went at least to 2 repairers in my country (Burkina Faso) but they told me the phone was converted to sm-g955f dual sim from sm-g955n korean. they made a rom flash but still no imei. I have the box and ...

I completely agree. The S8 Plus is a fantastic phone and still performs well to this day. No other phone out on the market right now is jumping out at me saying "buy me, buy me" and call me old fashioned but I hate this current trend of notches...

It's pretty sad that it won't get any major updates, it is still a great phone but that's what samsung does to its older flagships.
