Yordan, 08 January 2018

Asus launched the Zenfone Max Plus (M1) in November in Russia and expanded its availability across other European regions by the middle of December. At CES 2018 the company announced that it will also arrive to the US and Canada.

The Max Plus (M1) will cost $229 for the 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage version. It also has a rather disappointing MT6750T chipset and Android 7.0 Nougat. The key selling point of the phone is a powerful 4,130 mAh battery.

Display-wise, the phone has 5.7” panel with 18:9 ratio and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. There is a dual cam setup on the back - a 16 MP primary camera coupled with an 8 MP secondary snapper coming with 120-degree wide-angle lens. Selfies can be taken at 8 MP as well.

The phone supports Face Unlock but it also has a fingerprint scanner on the back for a more reliable security option.

North America will get the Zenfone Max Plus (M1) in February in two colors - Deepsea Black and Azure Silver.
