Oppo Reno 10x zoom arriving on May 10

Yordan, 23 April 2019

Oppo Reno arrived with an unusual shark-fin selfie camera two weeks ago. The company announced the launch date of the regular phone right at the event, but today it said when the variant with 10x zoom camera will be launched and how much would it cost. The date for the Chinese arrival is May 10 and prices start from CNY3,999, or about $600/€530.

The flagship has a 13 MP f/3.0 periscope camera on the back, a 48 MP f/1.7 main shooter and third wide-angle snapper with 8 MP sensor and f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing camera, peeking from the elevating mechanism, is 16 MP. With the weird camera tucked inside the device, the front panel is all screen - 6.6” AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Reno 10x zoom prices are three - the one we already mentioned is for the lowest memory configuration of 6/128 GB. The 6/256 GB model is CNY4,499 ($670), while the 8/256 GB variant costs CNY4,799. Pre-orders have already started in China, while the May 10 date is for shipping and offline store arrivals.
