The Xiaomi Redmi 7A was spotted on a Czech retailer’s website earlier this week, suggesting an arrival of the ultra-affordable smartphone to EU. Today we get further confirmation of an imminent global launch as we learn that the phone has already been certified at multiple markets.

The phone was spotted at 4 different certification websites - EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission), IMDA in Singapore, TKDN in Indonesia and NBTC in Thailand. They all listed the device with a model number M1903C3EG, with the Thai regulator even including the actual marketing moniker Redmi 7A.

The phone was introduced in China with a price tag equivalent to $80, but we expect prices of about €100 once the Redmi 7A hits the international retail shelves. It brings a 5.45” HD display with 18:9 ratio, Snapdragon 439 chipset and a single 13 MP camera on the back. It also has big 4,000 mAh battery with 10W charging and supports basic Face Unlock.

It's basically a Redmi 3S or 4X without fingerprint sensor, taller 18:9 screen, and scrap the aluminum build in favor of plastic one. Ah yeah, with Android 9 over MIUI 10 skin.
