Redmi K30 5G certified with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage

Xiaomi announced the Redmi K30 5G last week with a Snapdragon 765G chipset with a built-in 5G modem and up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Now, the Chinese regulatory TENAA approved a version of the phone with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, meaning it should arrive on the market very soon.

The Redmi K30 5G has a 6.67” LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution and dual punch holes for the two selfie cameras - the main one being 20 MP, accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor. There are four more shooters on the back, with the main one having a 64MP IMX686 sensor, making it the first smartphone with Sony’s latest solution.

Currently, the Redmi K30 5G with 8/256 GB memory costs CNY2,899 ($410/€370) in China. The 12/512 GB option is likely to be priced at CNY3,199, which is roughly $455/€410.

This is getting nice. Wondering when they start giving phones more than 12GB ram.

Actually, 4GB is borderline enough for current PC that is using the latest OS (like Windows 10). Also I have someone in the office using 32bit Win7 OS (thus limiting the ram to 3GB) and it is using mainly for excel and word stuff. The experience is.....
