The Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro have three Nokia OZO-powered features

Peter, 09 March 2020

The new Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro boast the advanced sound recording capabilities of Nokia’s OZO Audio. This collaboration started with the first Reno phones and continued with the Reno 2 models.

Three OZO features are supported: Audio 3D, Audio Zoom and Audio Windscreen. While the Reno 2 had the same features, this is the most advanced integration of OZO technology to date, says the company. It was designed and tested at Nokia’s audio lab in Tampere, Finland by Nokia and Oppo engineers working together.

Audio 3D allows devices to capture 360° sound with high fidelity audio. Audio Zoom amplifies sounds only from the section of the scene that you zoom in on during video recording. Audio Windscreen is an advanced wind noise suppression system. Demo videos below:

The Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro use three different microphones to capture sound coming from all sides, as well as for additional info used by the Zoom and Windscreen features.
