Huawei's upcoming flagship tablet, the MatePad Pro 2 5G has been certified with the Chinese 3C, confirming its 40W charging. We also expect it to match its predecessor's 27W wireless charging (a rarity among tablets).

The MatePad Pro 2 5G is expected to be powered by a Kirin 9000 chipset and run PadOS, based on the company's Harmony OS.

The current MatePad Pro 5G has a 10.8-inch IPS LCD but we've heard reports that its successor will increase the size to a 12.9-inch OLED with 120Hz refresh rate.

Now a slightly conflicting report has surfaced in China. As per Weibo user Digital Chat Station (translated) the MatePad Pro 2 5G will come in two screen options - a 12.2-inch Huaxing-made display and another 12.6-inch Samsung-made panel with 120Hz refresh rate, no word whether either are IPS LCD or OLED.

We'll need to wait for more information on the display. Stay tuned.

Owned matepad pro without gms, using hms, using it daily and even play games like cod pubg slamdunk, no issue so far.

Well it seems Xiaomi doesn't give much importance to the tablet market, since it's no where near the smartphone business, their tablets availability is always a problem, and they don't exist officially in too many countries.

There is no 'debunking'. Most users won't be sideloading or don't want to deal with 3 different app stores. So yes, for most people it is useless without GMS
