Motorola Razr 40 series launches in India, pre-booking for the Razr 40 Ultra now open

Peter, 03 July 2023

As expected, Motorola launched its Razr 40 series in India with a big event in New Delhi (and we were there, you can watch the live stream). According to Prashanth Mani, Managing Director at Motorola Mobility India, “100% of the Motorola products sold in India are made in India” and that includes the 2023 foldables as well.

The more advanced of the two, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, has a base price of ₹90,000, however, ICICI Bank offers ₹7,000 cashback if you use one of their credit cards to make the purchase. If you don’t want to pay a lump sum, there is a ₹7,500 a month no cost EMI available. Carrier Jio is promising ₹15,000 worth of “goodies” (what that entails exactly will be posted by Jio itself).

The vanilla Motorola Razr 40 will be 30% cheaper with a ₹60,000 base price and a ₹5,000 cashback offer from ICICI. You can get it with monthly installments of ₹5,000/month as well. Jio’s offer is valued at the same ₹15,000. Note that both models are configured with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage (and there are no other options).
